5 techniques for getting your groove back

5 techniques for getting your groove back

Don’t feel disheartened. Not at all. It’s at this very moment that you are realising that you want more!

More from your business, work, life, etc.
It’s at this very moment that you are witnessing your own growth and evolution. Just think, twelve months ago you would have felt good with where you are at. But perhaps not anymore.

The big question – Is this a passing feeling, or is it something that has been hanging around for long enough to know that perhaps it’s more than just momentary? Or that it’s fleeting, but keeps coming back every couple of months?

If you have lost your loving feeling, and want to get it back, this is what we suggest could be your starting point.

1. How you start your day.
Find the thing that gets you excited to start your day! Whatever it is, find it. The moment that it stops being exciting, look at mixing it up. How you started your day today is a good indication of how the day will continue. Start it on a good foot, and you will more likely end on a good foot.

2. Your Environment.
What feels good? What doesn’t? Get to know this – it’s so important. Spend more time in the ‘what feels good’ space – you know it’s right by how you feel when you are there. Or, call the people that make you laugh or you can have pumping conversation with.

3. The Rub.
Recognise if you have ‘rub’ and where it is. What is rub? It’s that feeling of friction, perhaps something isn’t feeling quite right. Instead of pushing through it, feel free just to acknowledge it and ask why the rub? What is the rub saying to you, or about you, i.e. why is it there in the first place? What are you feeling, where are you at, why are you finding it hard to let it go, where can the rub take you, what’s beyond the rub? Big questions, but definitely worth asking if you want to work on ‘healing’ this.

4. The ‘Push Through’ stalemate.
This only requires one move. You are not looking for a big move; any move will do it. This action is about reaching for what makes you feel good, however, it’s a feel-good beyond instant gratification. It’s a move that you look back on, and be really happy with. It could be something for someone else or a start to kick-starting a new you. All it takes is that one little step to start something amazing that will help you push through this moment.

5. Hello, is it me you’re looking for?
Ask yourself, is the lack of vibe a prompt for a deeper look into you? A self-discovery of who you are and what you want from your life. You’re never too young, never too old to dig deep because there is always something else to find! More you, more true, and more from life too.

Maybe you have recognised this feeling for yourself, or you have somebody great in your life that has raised it with you. However you have gotten to this point, why not try some or all of these steps, and perhaps you might find that the next step forward was just what you were looking for to get your ‘loving life’ feeling back on track.
